Daily Routine And Diffuser Necklace Giveaway

As 2015 comes to an end, we all tend to reminisce over the past twelve months. The good, the bad and those moments that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

I'll admit, 2015 has been a very trying year for me. My health being the biggest issue I've had to battle. But one of the highlights was discovering Young Living Essential Oils in August of this year and incorporating them into my everyday routine. I honestly can't imagine my life without them now.

My daily routine looks something like this: every morning I begin my day with Thieves toothpaste and mouthwash, I then rub 2 drops of Endoflex on my neck. I apply 2-3 drops of Progessence Plus over my carotid arteries. At work I keep a roll-on of Breathe Easy as well as a diffuser with Thieves. I also have Thieves cleaner at work because I don't like those scented wipes they provide. When I get home for the evening, I start my diffuser with whatever I feel I'm needing at the time; some days that's Valor and Northern Lights Black Spruce, other times it is Abundance...trust me this list could go on & on. Before I go to bed, I take a capsule with 4 drops of Copaiba and 4 drops of Ocotea. I add Lavender and Cedarwood to the diffuser in my bedroom, then apply Vetiver and RutaVaLa to my feet.

Beard Oil

Men can use essential oils too! This manly scented beard oil is the perfect way to get them started. 

There are tons of beard oils and beard balms on the market now and most of them share questionable ingredients and a high price tag. 

This DIY beard oil is quick to make and contains all natural ingredients. 

Here is what you need:

1 - 1 oz glass dropper bottle (I ordered mine from Amazon)

Organic fractionated coconut oil

Vitamin E oil

Young Living Cedarwood essential oil

Young Living Lavender essential oil

Young Living Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) essential oil

Young Living Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil

Fill the dropper bottle 3/4 full of coconut oil.

Add 2-5 drops of each essential oil.

Fill the rest of the way with Vitamin E oil leaving enough space for the dropper to be inserted. 

Tighten the cap, shake and have your guy try it out!

Diffusing for Fall Wellness

Today is another rainy and cold fall day. I have my DewDrop diffuser going with Thieves and Raven. Thieves is my go to oil to diffuse most days but I've been adding Raven to it the last few days to help with respiratory and sinus congestion. 

Raven is a therapeutic essential oil blend of Ravensara, Lemon, Wintergreen, Peppermint and Eucalyptus Radiata.


Thieves is a therapeutic essential oil blend of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata and Rosemary. Thieves was inspired by the legend of four 15th century French thieves who formulated a special aromatic combination composed of clove, rosemary and other botanicals they used while robbing the dead and dying. Upon capture, they told their secret to receive a lesser sentence. 

Fresh Towels

Ever get a towel out of the closet and make that ew face when you get a whiff of them? Sometimes, no matter how diligent we are, towels just get funky. Today when I put a load of towels in the dryer I thought I'd try something different.

I added a few drops of Young Living's Purification Essential Oil Blend to my wool dryer balls and when they came out...WOW! They smell amazing! I highly recommend giving this a try.
